Hi all One of Lodi's best kept secrets is The Lodi Serpentarium My first visit I was there to purchase 1 week old crickets for my spiderling G.Pulch

Hi all,

One of Lodi's best kept secrets is The Lodi Serpentarium. My first visit I was there to purchase 1 week old crickets for my spiderling (G.Pulchra) and was amazed that they had a Tarantula room and had a very nice collection of roaches (not the kind we kill) as well. Since that first visit,  I have been coming back every few weeks for feeder roaches and crickets. Today I wanted a co-worker to see this place, not just for the spiders but to visit this great reptile museum, as we entered I went straight for the tarantula room to find a revamped room with twice as many as before and that they also sell young Tarantulas!

They truely have a great collection, all cared for, clean, their pricing is really good and I have to tell you, I will never buy from anyone other than the Lodi Serpentarium! Admission into the museum is $1.00 and 3 years of age and under is free, this admission is a donation that covers the cost of feeding and caring for all reptiles, spiders and roaches!

The Serpentarium is a privately owned, 3,000 square foot, 2-story museum offering an incredible display of reptiles exhibited in their natural habitat. Some of our exhibits include animals such as Anacondas, Reticulated Pythons, False Water Cobras, Crocodile Monitors and so much more!

Over 1,000 reptiles can be found in the museum, many on display and others in our nursery and breeding rooms. Most of our reptiles are captive bred and born at our facility and offered for sale to other museums, zoos, as well as to the general public.

Click here to visit their website for more information and directions, its a great place to visit with the little ones who are facinated by reptiles and a great learning experiance for all ages!
