Odorous house ants live in a colony that consists of several colonies with anywhere from 100 to 100,000 ants and several queens. Outside of a residence the odorous house ants nest in soil, underneath objects such as, wood piles, lumber, brick and even inside honey bee hives.

Inside the residence the odorous house ant's nest are often found near sources of moisture in wall voids, around water heaters, plumbing lines and even under toilets. The odorous house ant will feed on insects, dead or alive, sweets, honeydew, plant juices and seeds.

Most infestations can be controlled with Clark Pest Control's Year Round Pest Control service. However, in cases of heavy, difficult infestations a combination of residual barriers and baits may be used.
