Clark Pest Control and RK Pest Management Present IPM for Food Plant Seminar

The Food Safety Modernization Act is applying pressure on food processing facilities up and down the supply chain to develop and implement pro-active and preventive food safety programs to protect their products and facilities.

Are the strategies and protocols that food industry professionals are using enough to prevent a food safety incident from happening in their facility?

To assist facility and quality assurance managers answer that question and meet the challenges presented by FSMA, Clark Pest Control and RK Pest Management Service are joining forces for the IPM for Food Plants Seminar, September 29-30, 2015 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Sacramento, California.

The two-day event will feature more than a dozen information filled sessions covering a wide spectrum of food safety and pest management topics including food security and food defense, meeting third-party audit criteria, developing and implementing IPM strategies, and rodent, cockroach and flying insect control strategies.

Al St. Cyr, director of education and food safety for Clark Pest Control, and Richard Kammerling, president of RK Pest Management, will headline a speaker lineup that includes notable food and pest management experts including Dr. Bobby Corrigan, Kim Kemp (Nestle Purina Petcare), Dan Collins (Collins Pest Management), Rod Wheeler and Don Aspin (Shearer’s Food).

Registration is $545 before August 15 and $645 after that date. Group discounts are available. Registration includes lunch both days and pest management continuing education units for California, New Mexico, Nevada and Oregon (additional states pending).
