We employ both volumetric heat and the directed application of hot vapors. Volumetric heat is used to heat an entire space or structure, raising the temperature of the treated area to a lethal level. The heat can penetrate and treat all of the connected areas. Direct applications of hot vapors are delivered via a hand-held device. This dry steam is used to raise the temperature of an immediate area (spot treatment) to a lethal level.
